Bjorn Apiaries
Classes held in working apiaries, with hands-on practical application. If you want more than the standard bee class with 8 hours of "talk", then this is for you. We passed on the power-point picture of a queen, and think it's better for you to see the real thing. That's our philosophy.

Bjorn Apiaries has been holding open houses, classes, and other functions at it's Honeycomb Farm location for nearly 20 years now. Classes are instructed with former state bee inspectors as well as experts in the field. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned beekeeper, we all learn from each other in social style instruction.

Every year beekeepers ask if we hold classes

other than traditional Saturday timeframes.

This year due to time constraints in our bee business with

nuc orders, we are offering Sunday classes.

Classes at Bjorn Apiaries range from sustainable beekeeping, queen rearing, and inspector classes. We also cover alternative styles of beekeeping.
Classes are not classroom only instruction. They are hands-on and proactive. The best way to learn while having fun with other beekeepers.
