Bjorn Apiaries provides pollination services to central Pennsylvania farms and orchards. We are not migratory beekeepers. And we also do not provide short term pollination of single crops.
We are very selective of the farms we contract with for pollination services. We believe any business agreement for pollination must be good for the farmer or landowner, as well as the bees.
Pesticides, herbicide, and fungicides, all affect the health of honey bee colonies. We work very hard to keep healthy and productive hives, thereby providing the best service we can. We strive to have good relationships with those that we provide pollination services. And we also seek those operations that are environmentally friendly to bee and other native pollinators.
